East Tennesee Striper Fishing Guide

About your Guide

Captain Bobby has made East Tennessee his home for the last five years. Many of those years spent in the outdoors with friends and family enjoying the abundance of activities the area has to offer. Bobby is a licensed Coast Guard Captain operating a 21’ SeaPro center console boat. This vessel is equipped with the latest Lowrance sonar, gps, fish finder and structure scan electronics. Fintastic Fishing Charters provides top notch fishing gear and tackle suited for battling big striper-hybrid fish. Captain Bobby consistently hooks-up more than 1000 fish per year fishing Cherokee, Douglas, and Norris lakes.

My passion as a guide is striper fishing! BIG, HARD HITTING, HARD FIGHTING STRIPER! We target striped bass from the surface down to the bottom. Captain Bobby uses sight casting to top-water breaking fish to live bait fishing to trolling plugs to down rigging to depths beyond ninety foot. Captain Wilber is also very knowledgeable and successful with small mouth bass, large mouth bass, white bass, catfish, and crappie. The Captain suggests that you practice good stewardship by practicing CPR – CATCH, PHOTOGRAPH AND RELEASE!

Fintastic Fishing Charters locate and catch fish year-round. The baits and tactics may change, but still catch the BIG, HARD HITTING, HARD FIGHTING STRIPER! We ask that you dress for the conditions, bring drinks, snacks and a camera.

We are located in East Tennessee conveniently located to Knoxville, Maryville, Lenoir City, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge and the Great Smoky Mountains.  A guided striper fishing trip while the ladies shop the Gatlinburg strip or the malls in Pigeon Forge would be a great get-away for you guys! Come enjoy what East Tennessee has to offer!

We make it easy, in the fast paced lifestyle we have today, you can pick between 6 or 8 hour trips. We can accommodate morning, mid-day to evening outings. From recreational fishing, birthdays, corporate outings, bachelor / bachelorette parties to any other special event you have in mind.
